Mark has spent decades in manufacturing and operations. He has worked in various types of industries, including heavy manufacturing, steel mill and foundry, machine building and both high- and low-volume parts manufacturing—all for make-to-stock and make-to-order environments.

Through the years, Mark has been responsible for process and productivity improvements, value engineering as well as plant utilization and throughput optimization. He has instituted techniques such as plant expansions, plant consolidations, outsourcing programs and employee programs. He has also implemented ERP systems.

Mark has a special passion for manufacturing that began during childhood summers spent at his family’s company, Danly Machine Corporation. And that passion has developed into a remarkable career.

Prior to founding Danly Consulting Services, Mark worked at Rockwell International, Weiler Engineering, Diamond Machine Werks and Danly Machine Corporation. He’s held a variety of titles such as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, Corporate Manufacturing Manager, Project Manager and Industrial Engineer. Mark has a BSIE and an MBA with an emphasis in Operations.
